• NOTE: After the birth of my baby, I've found myself with another new baby!! It's a mom-made-in-Canada company called 'Spark Your Imagination'.

    So, I am still taking a wee break from photography, while I enjoy my little peanut and this new venture!

    “Thanks Erin! The slide show – pictures AND music – are SO amazing! You made us look in pictures exactly how we feel in real life...it’s all beyond words…”

    Erin has an uncanny ability to develop a personal relationship with families and help them tell their story through photos. How often does a photographer get an unsolicited bear hug from a toddler she sees once a year and also manages to get a “manly man” to frolick in the forest in front of a camera?

    "Thank you again for the great photo shoot. The pictures look amazing!
    We were so impressed with how you dealt with the boys. They loved the photo shoot and you too!"

A great joy is coming {Kamloops Maternity Photographer}

It’s been an interesting few weeks, doing sessions with my big belly getting in the way! It has been a really good for me though, to realize just how uncomfortable some of the ‘poses’ can be when you are 8 months pregnant.

Flopping down on your back and whipping your legs up in the air is a breeze when you aren’t pregnant…but get 7 pounds of baby in you, with another 15 pounds of fluid…and, well…it can be another story!

So, for all the maternity sessions gone by – my apologies!  For all the maternity sessions in the future, my future apologies – ’cause I’ll still likely suggest all the floor poses!(Hey – the end results are stunning – I just promise to move through them quickly!)

Here are a few of my favourites from a recent maternity session.  Jamie & Michelle are expecting baby #1!

This beautiful regalia was hand-made by Michelle’s mom.

I am very excited to meet their little peanut – due to arrive mid-September!
