My husband and I dragged our feet in getting photos done. We are busy, frugal minded, and low profile but mostly we are not picture people and definitely not “posers”. We are so active and the whole process just seemed a bit daunting for us.
Hesitation aside, we met Erin at Thetis Lake in a surrounding where we are most comfortable and ourselves. The day quickly became about more than just preserving memories, it was about making them at that moment.
Erin has an uncanny ability to develop a personal relationship with families and help them tell their story through photos. How often does a photographer get an unsolicited bear hug from a toddler she sees once a year and also manages to get a “manly man” to frolick in the forest in front of a camera?
I know we will get some great photos but most of all I will have the photos to remind me of the thanksgiving we made carefree memories picking “magic mushrooms” and investigating fairy holes in trees together as a young family. Sniff, sniff….thanks Erin!
